Electric Fireplace

We haven’t had a warm fire to enjoy because upstairs had a wood burning stove that is apparently illegal to use in our city unless it’s your only source of heat….crazy right?!

A friend of mine had this electric fireplace and asked if I wanted it! You better believe I was jumping up and down with excitement!

I painted it the same white as the rest of our walls “Sleek White- Behr” and left the stone around the fireplace alone unless I decide to tile around it one day!

It took about 3 coats to cover the deep brown and since I did this in December I was so excited to finally have a mantle to decorate for the holidays!

I just need to remove the baseboard behind it and put new baseboards on either side! I plan to make a frame for our tv and hopefully do a wall treatment soon! For now I am so excited to have a toasty fireplace and a place to decorate for the holidays!
